Katie Hopkins and Luisa Zissman in telly debate after 70% of Brits demand halt to migrants

A MASSIVE 70% of Brits want immigration to be stopped or slashed.
More than two-thirds also demand Brits get priority over migrants for jobs, while three in five say foreigners must speak English to stay here.
The YouGov poll was carried out for Channel 5 ahead of an explosive live telly debate on the hot topic tonight.
At 8pm The Big British Immigration Row will see celebs such as telly loudmouth Katie Hopkins, 38, and Celebrity Big Brother housemate Luisa Zissman, 26 lock horns.
Other guests include jailbird economist Vicky Pryce, 62, gobby TV star Vanessa Feltz, 51, and Sven Goran Eriksson’s former lover Nancy Dell’Olio, 52.
Senior politicians and migrants themselves will also be thrown into the boiling pot for the debate, which is hosted by Anne Diamond and Nick Ferrari.
Channel 5 director of programming Ben Frow said: “These survey results demonstrate that immigration is at the top of the agenda in today’s Britain.
“This live event is a timely and robust contribution to this vital national debate.
“This is a great opportunity to air all shades of opinion, and we’re sure The Big British Immigration Row: Live will be unmissable television.”
