Kate Middleton's night at the museum! Kate and Wills head to the movies

THE DUKE and Duchess of Cambridge headed out for a night at the museum to watch veteran broadcaster Sir David Attenborough bring prehistoric creatures back to life.
Prince William and Kate left Prince George at home for the evening as they attended an early screening of Sir David's latest work, Natural History Museum Alive 3D.
Kate is a patron of the world famous museum in South Kensington and she and her husband donned 3D glasses to watch the film alongside a specially invited audience.
Kate rocked a stunning floor length lace gown to the glitzy event while William slipped into a typically suave tuxedo.
The film uses 3D technology to bring beasts such as dinosaurs, ice age beasts and monstrous reptiles to life.
In the movie creatures including the Diplodocus - the giant dinosaur that sits in the Natural Museums entrance hall - are resurrected for the audience.
Sir David said: "I have been coming to the Natural History Museum since I was a boy. It’s one of the great places to come to learn about natural history.
"In this film we have the technology to bring back to life some of the most romantic and extraordinary extinct creatures that can be conceived; some are relatively recent animals like the dodo, others older like the dinosaurs, and some we only know through fossil evidence.
"Using our current scientific knowledge, this film brings these creatures alive allowing me to look at some of the biggest questions surrounding them. I hope that it will make people think about these extinct creatures differently and bring the museum to life in a new and exciting way."
The film will be shown at 6.30pm on Sky 3D on New Year’s Day and will be simulcast in 2D on Sky 1 HD.
